Privacy Statement

Lorain County Community College and the Employment and Careers Services Department are committed to preserving the privacy practices regarding electronic personal information for LCCC students, alumni, community members, and employers.   Information collected by us is used to provide tailored services to our users.  It is also used to construct aggregate reports that assist us in program planning.  Collection and access to student information is governed by campus and federal policy under  Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the LCCC Web Site Privacy Policy.

All data collected for our Online Job Listing System, a job listing/resume database, is stored on NACElink secure servers.   Job listings and resume services are provided through the NACElink Network, a web-based national recruiting system, the result of an alliance among the National Associate of Colleges and Employers (NACE),  a nonprofit professional organization for career centers and employers, Employers Association, a nonprofit association of national employers, and Symplicity Corporation, an advance technology provider for higher education and government.  Details on their privacy practices can be reviewed at NACElink Network Privacy Policy and  the DirectEmployers Privacy Policy. 

Neither NACE, or Symplicity,  review job postings on individual school web sites or nacelink. com.  Site users are urged to validate job postings and use caution and common sense when applying.  Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information, or bank account numbers to unknown employers.
